Darlington Rotary is part of
Rotary International
Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Formed in 1923, our Darlington club is one of the largest
and most active in the UK.
The members are people of all ages, who are keen to utilise
their skills and resources for the benefit of others
in their community, in the UK, and abroad.
There are currently around 70 active members of Darlington Rotary Club.
We are part of Rotary District 1030, which is in the North East,
and comprises 64 Rotary Clubs serving their
local, regional, national and international communities.
Darlington Rotary works on many exciting projects to help improve the lives of others, and we are very proud of the progress we continue to make.
Key groups ensure that our work continues outside of the weekly club meetings to make positive change, whilst encouraging fun and fellowship.
The Rotary motto is "service above self"
